Norsvin is a farmer owned swine genetic company, - established in Norway in 1958. Norsvin specializes in genetic advancement for the benefit of pork producers, meat industry and consumers.

As production costs are rising, efficiency is more important than ever before. More than 50 years of selection in one of the world's most high-cost production countries has made Norsvin genetics superior in combining efficiency and throughput.
 

The aim of Norsvin's genetic program is to ensure an effective, healthy and robust pig that will perform in a variety of different production environments.
